พิธีมิสซาวันพุธรับเถ้า ณ วัดน้อย นักบุญมาร์ติน เดอ ตูร์ส

วันพุธที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564 เป็นวันสำคัญทางศาสนาคริสต์ (คาทอลิก) ด้วยพระศาสนจักรกำหนด ให้เป็นวันพุธรับเถ้า ถือเป็นวันเริ่มต้นของเทศกาลมหาพรต ซึ่งจะมีเวลาจากนี้ไปอีก 40 วัน ก่อนที่จะถึงวันสมโภชปัสกา(อีสเตอร์) ในวันพุธรับเถ้านี้ ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมพิธีทุกคนจะได้รับการโปรยเถ้าที่ศีรษะ โดยเถ้านี้ได้มาจากการนำใบลานที่ผ่านการเสกในปีที่ผ่านมา นำมาเผาไฟและนำไปเข้าพิธีเสก พระสงฆ์จะโรยเถ้าพร้อมกับกล่าวว่า “จงกลับใจใช้โทษบาป และเชื่อพระวรสารเถิด” อันเป็นสัญลักษณ์เตือนใจคริสตชนทุกคนให้หมั่นสวดภาวนา จำศีลอดอาหาร รู้จักประมาณกินดื่ม พลีกรรม ใช้โทษบาปของตนเอง ทำบุญทำทาน ปฏิบัติกิจเมตตาจิตมากกว่าที่เคยเป็นอยู่ เพื่อร่วมในพระมหาทรมานของพระเยซุคริสตเจ้า
      ในการนี้ ภราดา ดร. พิสูตร  วาปีโส ผู้อำนวยการ คณะครู และนักเรียนคาทอลิก ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีอย่างพร้อมเพรียง ณ วัดน้อย นักบุญมาร์ติน เดอ ตูร์ส

Ash Wednesday Eucharistic Celebration at Saint Martin de Tours Chapel.
                 On February 17, 2021 being the Christian (Catholic) important Holy day. As the Church has prescribed Ash Wednesday to be the commencement of Lent for 40 day-period before Passover (Easter). The placing of repentance ashes by the priest on the foreheads of all participants to either the words "Repent, and believe in the Gospel" The ashes are prepared by burning palm leaves from the previous year's Palm Sunday celebrations.
                The purpose of Lent symbolizes the preparation of all Christian believers for Easter through prayers, doing penances, mortifying the flesh, repentance of sins, almsgiving, self-denial and Perform more compassionate activities than ever before in order to participate in the Agony of Christ.
                 In this instance, the Director Rev. Bro. Pisutr  Vapiso  PhD., together with Catholic teachers and students attended the Ash Wednesday Eucharistic Celebration at Saint Martin de Tours Chapel.
