✈️ Thai Airways Training Sparks Aspirations for English Program Students
On November 28, 2025, students from Mathayom 5 and 6 specializing in the English major participated in a comprehensive "Safety and Emergency Training and In-Flight Service" workshop hosted by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited.
Morning Session: Safety and Emergency Preparedness
The morning session was dedicated to crucial safety protocols, providing students with essential knowledge required for cabin crew operations:
- Door Operation with Slide Drill: Students learned about the normal function of exits or routes (e.g., for boarding, service, and emergency) and received knowledge on emergency operation, assisting power, and exit equipment. A key component was the simulation of potential in-flight emergency scenarios.
- Fire Drill: The training covered the basic principles and classification of fire and familiarized students with firefighting equipment. Students concluded this module with a hands-on firefighting practical exercise.
Afternoon Session: Mastering In-Flight Service and Professionalism
In the afternoon, the focus shifted to the core aspects of being a professional flight attendant:
- Flight Attendant Training: This segment included vital topics such as the importance of grooming, creating a positive first impression, and maintaining the appropriate posture.
- Empower Yourselves to Succeed - Unlock Personality Potential: The final topic centered on soft skills crucial for success, covering service mindset and strategies for personal growth and success.
Outcome and Inspiration
The training was a resounding success. Students gained invaluable knowledge and inspiration regarding careers in the airline industry. Furthermore, the specialized environment provided an excellent opportunity for them to practice the English language used correctly in an airline setting.
