To understand heat energy transfer, Matthayom 3 students engineered and tested their own solar ovens, initially presenting their designs and justifying material choices like cardboard and foil. After building their devices, they witnessed solar radiation transform into practical heat.
Post-experiment discussions focused on analyzing which design features boosted heat retention and efficiency, linking these discoveries to real-world renewable energy and sustainable cooking. Students were evaluated on their oven's construction quality, performance, and their group's ability to clearly articulate the principles of radiation, conduction, and convection.
