FSG Teacher Training

On Saturday 1st November, 2025, ACSP teachers from both MLP and EP in the subjects of English, Mathematics and Science underwent training at the Assumption Bangrak campus.
The training began with an opening ceremony in which all participating teachers from six schools within the Bangkok area and vicinity were informed of the purpose and details of the training. After the initial ceremony, the subject teachers were separated into their own conference rooms to undergo training related to the topics of pedagogical knowledge, inquiry-based-learning, critical thinking and formative assessment.

The book resources used by FSG schools were the main focus in order to focus on how to utilize activities and support student learning and development. The English subject follows Cambridge using “Power Up” books for Primary 1 – 6 students, “Think” books for Secondary 1 – 3 and “Prepare” for Secondary 4 – 6 level students.

Mathematics utilizes “Targeting Math” for Primary 1 – 6 and “New Discovery Maths” for Secondary 1 – 3. Finally, Science, which engages students using “Star Science” for Primary 1 – 6 and “Science Around Us” for Secondary 1 – 3.

English training was conducted by trainers from Cambridge, while Mathematics and Science were trained by a representative from Singapore.
The continued development of ACSP’s teachers provides our students with experienced and qualified teachers to enable a more productive and engaging classroom.
