Students in Primary 1 were involved in the Singapore Primary School Examination in Mathematics.

A topic that students studied was “Shapes and Patterns”. They learnt new vocabulary related to the topic. An immersive atmosphere was created by teachers that helped students to be really involved in the classroom activity. Students had to make different objects using 2-D shapes such as triangles, circles, rectangles and squares. This activity helped students to develop their creativity, critical thinking, problem solving skills and physical skills like using scissors and glue. Students had lots of fun and enjoyed the active learning experiences.
