"Beyond Translation: Practical Chinese Learning Through Scenarios" Chinese, Secondary 2
Language learning is not just about translating words and sentence structures; it is more about practical usage in everyday situations. In our classroom instruction, we make full use of multimedia technology to help students memorize vocabulary (such as word-image associations) through games, making the learning process more engaging and fun, while effectively fostering students' Chinese thinking. In our summer program, we focus on teaching Chinese related to asking for directions. We simulate real-life scenarios where students take on roles, allowing them to practice their listening and speaking skills and build their confidence in speaking Chinese.
