I created a game for the students. We separated them into 6 groups. Each group had a colour. We had 15 signs hidden throughout the school. On each sign, there were 4 words. Each in a different colour corresponding to the team colours. Each sign only had 4 groups’ words on it to add more suspense to try and stop the groups from going around together. The students had to find all their words from all the signs. Some of the signs were easy to find some were in fairly obscure places. Each group had to find 10 words. We then returned to the classroom where the students had to make a sentence from their words.

The game was a success and the children seemed to enjoy it.
