EP GOOD MANNERS 2026

The ACSP English Program held the EP Good Manners Awards Ceremony on the 20th & 21st of January 2026 at the Discovery Center. The event recognized students who excelled in demonstrating proper decorum and cultural awareness through the traditional Thai Wai.

As part of the competition, students dressed in their finest Thai costumes and demonstrated appropriate conduct while performing the Thai Wai, one of the most significant traditions in Thai culture that symbolizes courtesy, humility, and respect. Participants were assessed on their understanding of the correct form and context of the Wai, highlighting its importance in daily social interactions.

The competition was organized to encourage students to preserve and practice this cultural custom. It aimed to instill in students the values of respect and honor for others regardless of age or status, while also teaching them the appropriate ways to express reverence in various situations.

The Wai is not merely a simple gesture but an elegant expression of Thai etiquette and identity. Despite the influence of modernization and foreign cultures, teachers and parents continue to guide the younger generation to appreciate and uphold the essence of this meaningful tradition.

Congratulations to all the winners! May you continue to serve as good role models both inside and outside the school, embodying respect, discipline, and good manners in your daily lives.

The EP Discipline Department would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the committee, parents, and teachers for their unwavering support and cooperation. Through this collective effort, the school continues to nurture students who value cultural heritage, good conduct, and moral excellence.
