P4 Science: Exploring Solids, Liquids, and Gases!

Primary 4 learners are engaging with the Cambridge Science topic about states of matter, guided by Mr. Bikash Prajapati. They are discovering the characteristics of different states: solids have a fixed shape and volume, liquids flow and take the shape of their container, and gases spread out to fill any space.

The teacher asked some students to volunteer for the demonstration of the particle arrangement in each state (solid, liquid, and gas): solids have tightly packed particles, liquids have particles that slide past each other, and gases have particles that move freely. After the discussions and observations, students shared everyday examples such as ice cubes, water, and air. They also learned about changes in state, including melting and evaporation. To finish up, they were able to answer all the questions in their student books. Good job, P4!
