ACSP and Asahijuku: Until Next Time!

Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP) recently welcomed students and teachers from Asahijuku Secondary School, Okayama, Japan (ASJJ) for a vibrant 9-day cultural exchange program. As the Cultural Exhange reached its final stretch from Day 7 to Day 9, the excitement and learning only intensified.

On 30 August, the group explored iconic Bangkok destinations, including the bustling Chatuchak Weekend Market, and Siam Paragon for a dinner Cruise. It was a day of discovery, shopping, and soaking in the local vibes. Students spent quality time with their host families on Sunday 31 August, engaging in personal cultural exchanges and enjoying Thai hospitality. This day strengthened the bonds formed throughout the week and offered a heartfelt pause before the final day.

On Monday, the final day began with a Public Presentation Skills workshop in English, empowering students to reflect on their experiences and communicate confidently. After that, students gathered for a Farewell Ceremony at ACSP. Heartfelt speeches, shared memories, and a Souvenir Exchange between ASJJ and ACSP students marked the occasion. It was a beautiful moment of gratitude and friendship.

This unforgettable journey not only deepened the students’ understanding of Thai culture but also fostered lifelong friendships and global connections. ACSP is proud to be part of this meaningful exchange and looks forward to future collaborations with Asahijuku Secondary School.
