ACSP and Sikarin Hospital P4-6 First Aid Seminar : Empowering Young Lifesavers

On August 13 & 19, Primary 1 to 6 students of the ACSP English Program took part in an enriching and potentially life-saving First Aid Seminar, held at the Discovery Center. The session was conducted by healthcare professionals from the Emergency Center of Sikarin Hospital, who shared their expertise and real-world experiences with our young learners.
During the seminar, students were introduced to essential first aid skills, including how to respond in emergencies. They learned how to properly perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)—vital techniques that can make a difference in saving a life. Additionally, the students also learned how to give first aid in choking incidents.
Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, students gained valuable knowledge and confidence in handling emergencies appropriately. The session not only promoted awareness and safety but also encouraged a sense of responsibility and compassion among our students.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sikarin Hospital for their support and for helping equip our students with the skills to be proactive, caring members of the community.
We are proud of our young lifesavers in training!

The English Program would like to thank the coordinators and the Healthcare Professionals of Sikarin Hospital for the success of the activity.
