In Primary 2, students took on the Great Cup Stand Challenge, a test of balance, design, durability, and patience. With cups stacked high and hands trembling, the tension was real. Teachers Ms. Zoe Britz, Mr. Ahmet Haluk Odabas, and Ms. Pathum Amnuayvitayagu cheered on as students engineered towers that defied gravity.

The students were tasked to balance the cups and the cardboard, which was harder than it looked, but they didn’t give up and performed well! This challenge was a great way to teach basic concepts of physics, gravity and balance, through play and learning by doing.

This activity is under Science-Math Week which will be held from 13-29 August. All the students’ work will be displayed for a Special Exhibit on 25-29 August. Come and see them!
