Congratulations to Team “Soodlerksoob”— Ms. Pattaraporn Vongsaroje and Ms. Pokthaporn Boodeepitak — for winning the First Prize in the Smoke Solution Pitching Championship 2024 (Year 2) under the theme “Policies to Promote Smoking and E-cigarette Cessation Among Thai Youth.”

The competition was organised by the Society of Medical Students of Thailand (SMST) to encourage innovative ideas that address tobacco and e-cigarette use among Thai youth.

After submitting their application on October 10, the team successfully passed the First Round of pitching, narrowing down from over 120 teams to 32. Through an online presentation to mentors, they advanced to the Top 12, receiving valuable feedback to further improve their proposal during the Mentor Meeting session.

On January 12, 2025, the team reached the Final Round, held at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and was awarded First Prize, along with 38,000 THB in project development funding and an additional 6,000 THB cash prize.
