Assumption College Samutprakarn Celebrates Student Excellence in International Examinations

Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP) held a special ceremony today to honor 396 students for their remarkable achievements in several prestigious international examinations. The event, presided over by Brother Dr. Monthol Prathumarach, celebrated the school's commitment to providing a world-class education that aligns with its vision of developing students with an international standard of knowledge and a quality of life inspired by the spirit of St. Montfort.

The ceremony recognized students who excelled in a range of rigorous assessments, showcasing the diverse strengths of academic programs:

Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE): A total of 223 Secondary 1 students received certificates for their outstanding performance in this challenging exam, covering Mathematics, Science, and English. The iPSLE is the international equivalent of Singapore's Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).

Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE): One hundred seventy-three Secondary 4 students were honored for their success in this comprehensive exam, which assesses proficiency across eight subjects including English Literature, Mathematics, and Environmental Science.

Chinese Language Proficiency Test (HSK): Thirty-eight students were awarded for their proficiency in the Chinese language, reflecting the school’s dedication to equipping students with global communication skills.

Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST): An additional eight Secondary 3 students were recognized with a Plate of Honor for their exceptional results in a computer-based assessment.

In total, 46 students were awarded the prestigious Plate of Honor for their outstanding results, underscoring the high standards of academic achievement at the school.

"This ceremony is not only a celebration of our students' hard work and dedication but also a testament to the strong partnership between our students, parents, and teachers," said Ms. Ratchanee Buranasatitnon, Assistant Head of the Academic Department. "Our goal is to inspire our students to be well-rounded individuals who are both knowledgeable and virtuous."

The event concluded with Brother Dr. Monthol Prathumarach presenting the certificates and offering a message of encouragement to the honored students, reinforcing the school's commitment to fostering academic excellence and personal growth.
