The International Standards Results Day Ceremony
The International Standards Results Day Ceremony was held on the 19th August 2024. This annual ceremony recognizes the wonderful achievements of both our MLP and EP students in their academic success of international examinations that took place during the 2023 academic year.
The Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE) highlights the skills of the students in English, Science and Mathematics. ACSP has implemented iPSLE into the MLP curriculum for primary 1 to 6 students and students take examinations in secondary 1 during semester 1. We are proud of the teachers for their commitment to provide the best possible learning environment and education for the students. We are equally proud of the students for the excellent results they have produced.
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ICSE) is taken in a wide range of subjects; English Language and Literature, Thai Language as a Modern Foreign Language, History and Civics, Geography, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Physical Education. This examination provides the MLP students with a well-rounded education and will enable them to become global citizens. The international standards are integrated within ACSP’s curriculum from secondary1 through to secondary 4 with the examination taking place in secondary 4 during the 1st semester. Our students performed admirably and their achievement is down to the hard work and dedication of both the teachers and the students. Students are able to use their test results within their portfolio which will aid in their admission to universities both at home and abroad.
Students from our English Program undertook Young Learners English (YLE) examinations in Cambridge Assessment. Various Cambridge assessments for Primary students included; YLE Movers for primary 2, YLE Flyers for primary 4, and Primary Checkpoint for primary 6. Secondary level students also were tested; YLE KET for secondary 1, YLE PET for secondary 2 and Lower Secondary Checkpoint for secondary 3. The students excelled with outstanding performance in their examinations and ACSP and its teaching staff are very thrilled with their achievements.
The Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST) examination. The Tianjin University of Science and Technology coordinate with ACSP to provide a suitable computer curriculum which is studied during secondary 3 and tested in secondary 3. This highlights the talent of ACSP’s students with several students achieving success in their examination. Our Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) saw our students achieve some phenomenal results in the HSK1, 2, 3 and 4 Chinese proficiency examinations underlining the truly international standards of our students at ACSP.
Finally, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) highlighted our students’ ability in languages with 4 of our students successfully passing their Japanese language proficiency.
