During the second semester, the primary 3 students embarked on a journey to comprehend the significance of information technology. They delved into learning how to effectively use and maintain IT devices, navigate the vast realms of the internet securely, and cultivate problem-solving skills and creativity through the Microsoft Kodu Game Lab. This 3D game development environment empowers young learners to create games on Windows PCs using a user-friendly, tile-based programming language.

The students honed their creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills through a comprehensive 4-step game design process:

• Design Process: This initial step involved formulating ideas and concepts for the overall game design, allowing students to envision the creative direction of their projects.

• Create Process: In the second step, students interacted with the Kodu Toolbar to build the world terrain, placing diverse objects and characters based on their game concepts. This phase marked the transformation of ideas into a tangible virtual environment.

• Program/Test Process: The third step facilitated the programming of game rules for various objects and characters using the intuitive "When + Do" conditional tiles. This hands-on programming experience allowed students to bring their games to life and test their functionality.

• Evaluate Process: The last step encouraged students to interact with and assess the overall game design. Troubleshooting became an integral part of the process, with students seamlessly moving back to the second and third steps to make real-time adjustments until the game functioned as intended.
