On August 20, 2026, Primary 5 students participated in a Reading Aloud and Conversation assessment at the Saint Louis Arena to prepare for the English Paper 4 Oral Exam (iPSLE). Held from 8:00 to 9:10 AM in collaboration with MLP’s foreign teaching staff, the activity allowed students to build confidence by practicing real-world communication with native speakers.

The assessment evaluated students across four key areas:

- Accurate Pronunciation: Emphasizing clear and precise word articulation.

- Natural Intonation: Using vocal variation to convey meaning effectively.

- Fluent Delivery: Expressing ideas and reading passages smoothly.

- Conversational Skills: Engaging directly with examiners in a simulated test environment.

By mirroring the official iPSLE oral examination format, the event provided students with practical insights into testing expectations while strengthening their overall English speaking proficiency.
