Students in Primary 1 classes of Modern Language Program at ACSP learnt the concept of subtraction using manipulatives and stickers. They learnt how number bonds related to subtraction and writing the subtraction equations. Using manipulatives helped students to better understand how they can implement subtraction in daily life. During the learning process students expanded their vocabulary and built confidence while playing games related to topic. Students participated happily in all activities and completed worksheets, where they showed both their understanding of subtraction and creativity.
