During February, the ACSP English Program collaborated with Ms. Pattamaporn Chumnanpuen, Senior Manager, PIM International Marketing & Recruitment Section, and other representatives of PIM. The purpose was to organize a 3-day Be A Better You Workshop for Secondary 4 students enrolled in the Free Elective course. S4 students were able to develop new knowledge and skills, understand personality development & proper grooming, and practice the in-flight services and table manners.
 
For the first session, students got to look at themselves and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, discuss them with the instructor, and receive feedback on their presentation abilities. During session two, students learned all about proper grooming techniques. These first two sessions were held at ACSP.
 
For the third and final session, students traveled to PIM to learn about proper table manners during a formal dinner event. They were served a 3-course meal. During the meal, students were guided on table etiquette and how to use the utensils and napkins properly.

After that, the S4 students toured the PIM-simulated airline and were able to learn about being an airline steward. Here, they learned how to check passengers into a flight, issue boarding passes, and act as an air steward presenting the safety demonstration for a flight.
 
Overall, the students enjoyed all three sessions with PIM and expressed an interest in returning in the future.
