"Discovering Africa: Food, Culture, Climate & More!"

Social Studies Class of Matthayom 1 did a wonderful group presentation about the second largest continent in the world which is Africa. The students worked in small groups to explore different topics about the African continent. Each group researched, prepared a PowerPoint, and presented to the class about what they learned.

The goal of the presentation was to help students learn more about Africa’s culture, food, climate, animals, vegetation, and traditions.

Topics that were presented by the students:

🔹 Culture & Traditions
One group focused on African clothing, festivals, and traditional dances. Some students wore colorful outfits to represent different African cultures.

🔹 Food
The food group introduced the class to popular African dishes like joll of rice, fufu, bobotie, and injera. They explained the ingredients and how these meals are prepared in different regions.

🔹 Animals & Nature
Students presented fascinating facts about African wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos.

🔹 Vegetation & Landscapes
This group showed pictures of Africa’s grasslands, rainforests, and deserts. They talked about the plants that grow in each area and how people use them in daily life.

The group presentation helped students not only learn more about Africa but also practice their research, teamwork, creativity, and public speaking skills. The classroom was full of energy, color, and curiosity as each group took turns to present.
