Math iPSLE - Ms. Saowalak , Ms. Marta

On Tuesday , June 24th MLP students in the Primary 1/4 classroom learnt the concept of subtraction using Lego Blocks with their math teachers, Ms. Saowalak and Ms. Marta. Students worked in pairs and followed teachers’ instructions during this learning activity. They were able to subtract by counting backwards using physical objects and had a better understanding of subtraction by using the number bonds concept. Also, students learned new vocabulary and practiced their subtraction skills in their workbooks. This kind of active learning helped students to understand the content of the learning topic better, develop their thinking skills, teamwork and keep students more interested by being involved in the learning process.
