Primary 5 iPSLE English students were excited to create their own restaurant and menu. Together they formed groups and put their heads together to come up with a clever restaurant. Restaurant themes ranged from Roblox to Minecraft and the favorite dessert of the class was mango sticky rice. After creating a restaurant the students put their ideas to paper and created their colorful menu to be presented to the class. Each group successfully presented these menus as if they were advertising their restaurant to potential customers. At the end students were asked questions about the starters, main courses and desserts. They also gave an overview of the various drinks on offer. Overall the class was a success and the students were able to develop their creativity while increasing their English proficiency.
