Secondary 6 Senior Showcase

On 9th February 2026, English Program came alive with excitement as S2 and S5 students gathered for the Secondary 6 Senior Showcase AY 2025, an event celebrating MTEP (Modern Track-English Program) students’ innovation, creativity, and academic growth. Bro. Kornkavee Yindeevech, Vice Director, delivered an inspiring speech congratulating Secondary 6 for the wonderful projects they’ve undertaken.

The Senior Showcase featured a diverse collection of student-designed projects, each reflecting months of research, planning, and hands‑on work. To deepen engagement, S2 and S5 students completed a Learning & Participation Worksheet as they visited different exhibits, learning about the many. Things they can study in their future. They were asked to explore at least three of the 19 projects, identify each project’s purpose, and highlight one meaningful idea they learned. This activity encouraged students not only to observe but to think critically about the information presented.

MTEP Projects
• Creative Innovative Media & Design: 6 projects
• Medical Science: 4 projects
• Engineering: 4 projects
• Business Administration: 3 projects
• Japanese Language: 1 project
• Chinese Language: 1 project

Many students shared that the exhibits captured their attention through strong visuals, interactive components, or unique concepts. They also evaluated the strengths of the presentations, such as clarity, creativity, organization, and detailed explanations of working steps, allowing them to appreciate the effort behind each display. A key reflection prompt asked students to identify a skill or knowledge gained that they believe will be valuable in real life or future studies. Responses ranged from problem‑solving and research skills to communication and design principles, showing the broad impact of the showcase on student learning. Students also expressed that the event helped them learn more effectively than in a traditional classroom setting. The hands‑on environment, peer explanations, and opportunity to explore at their own pace made the experience engaging and memorable.

The Senior Showcase AY 2025 succeeded in highlighting not only the impressive accomplishments of the students but also the power of interactive, student‑centered learning. The school community looks forward to seeing how these young innovators continue to grow and contribute their ideas in the years ahead.
