Secondary 4-5 MTEP CIMD major Dual Exhibitions
Secondary 4 and 5 students from the MTEP CIMD Major recently held two captivating exhibitions at the St. Gabriel building, highlighting their artistic growth and technical skills in photography and design.
From September 19 to 25, 2024, Secondary 4 students presented the "Street Photography and Landscape Exhibit" as the culmination of their Basic Photography practical examination. Guided by Mr. Thossaphol Manivong, CIMD teacher, the students explored the vibrant streets of Pak Nam, Mueang Samutprakan, capturing compelling images that reflected both urban life and natural beauty. Their work was displayed on the 1st floor of the St. Gabriel building, drawing attention to their keen eye for composition and storytelling through photography.
Meanwhile, Secondary 5 students showcased their final project titled "Insect Analysis Exhibit" from September 15 to 25, 2024. This unique examination involved a detailed study of insect anatomy, which served as inspiration for innovative graphic design creations. The exhibit was facilitated by Assistant Professor Ms. Orn Laor Homsettee from ABAC, alongside Mr. Thossaphol Manivong. The students’ ability to merge scientific observation with artistic interpretation impressed visitors and demonstrated the interdisciplinary nature of the CIMD curriculum.
Both exhibitions not only celebrated student achievement but also highlighted the dynamic and creative learning environment fostered within the MTEP CIMD program.
