ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN NEWS UPDATE

From the 12th of June to the 3rd of July, the EP Disciplinary Affairs are holding the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign to educate the students about prevention and awareness.

Why prevention is better than a cure? It gives us certainty against any harm where no student should suffer from drug abuse. The campaign is fostering objectives that are very beneficial for the welfare of students by educating them about protecting themselves against illegal drugs, shielding them from any form of life-threatening circumstances, and spreading more awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among their friends and the larger community. They can share knowledge with others about the harmful consequences of drug addiction, which encourages them to avoid unhealthy behaviors and promotes a substance-free life.

Throughout the campaign, students from Primary 1 to Secondary 2 & 5 prepared various activities that empowered students’ participation in the campaign. Each level showed their ideas and skills in promoting awareness related to the campaign. Some students presented role-plays of real-life scenarios, dancing gracefully with handmade props, singing with musical instruments, or painting by choosing their desired colors. With those constructive activities, they may also develop leadership and communication skills essential for personal growth.

ACSP stands strong and firm in protecting the youth against illegal substance and drug abuse.
