Primary 2: Parts and Functions of a Plant
Last week, Primary 2 students enjoyed the Parts and Functions of a Plant activity with Mr. Ahmet Haluk Odabas and Miss Supimporn Sutantiwannakul.
Students brought a flowering plant and other required materials. During the activity, the students learned how plants are vital to life on Earth, the parts of a plant, and its functions. This helped students to learn all about the life stages that a plant undergoes, from a seed to a fruit, by taking a closer look at the different parts. After that, the students presented their work in front of the class.

Plants not only improve the air we breathe by releasing oxygen but also have a positive impact on our emotional well-being. The presence of plants brings a sense of tranquility, beauty, and connection to the natural world. Everything we eat comes directly or indirectly from plants. We hope our P2 students have a newfound love for plants and their impact on our lives.
