ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN PRESENTATION
The EP Disciplinary initiated the conduct of the Drug Awareness Campaign at ACSP Discovery Center on the 18th of June 2024.
Why prevention is better than cure? It gives us certainty against any harm where no child should suffer from drug abuse. The campaign is fostering objectives that would be very beneficial for the welfare of students by educating them about protecting themselves against illegal drugs and shielding them from any form of life-threatening circumstances. With the help of education, the learners will have the ability and awareness to stand against drugs and other vices that may lead them to destruction. The Teachers also ensure that they help the learners understand the value and quality of life that would give them hope for their future.
Each level prepared a presentation related to the campaign. P5/7 and P5/9 performed their dance number related to anti-drugs whileP5/8presented an informative speech on the worst effects of illegal drug intake. During their presentation, they brought with them a customized prison cell that made their presentation more interesting and creative. Lastly, P6/8 presented the importance of a mothers’ words in their lives. Mother’s words are always best that help them stand firm against cruelty such as drug abuse and vices.
This involvement helps the students understand the purpose of this campaign, not only in the school community but in every environment they belong to. At the end of the presentations, the learners were able to comprehend the negative effects of drugs in our community, at the same time, they are now equipped with the knowledge and ability to shield themselves against the harm of drugs.
The English Program would like to thank the head of EP Discipline, Miss Siriwan Yuthongkham, and all homeroom teachers for their hard work and participation.
