EP GOOD MANNERS AWARDING
The ACSP English Program held the awards ceremony for the EP Good Manners competition on 29 October 2024 at the Discovery Center. This competition was held in August 2024, where students dressed in their best Thai costumes were asked to display proper conduct in executing the Thai Wai, one of the most important traditions in Thai culture to show courtesy and respect.
This competition was organized to encourage students to maintain the cultural custom of the Thai Wai greeting, which cultivates respect and honor for all people regardless of their status, and to teach students the different contexts for reverence of others.
Wai is not just a simple gesture but an elegant etiquette. Despite the modern world and the influence of foreign cultures, teachers and parents always ensure that the younger generation will not forget the essence of the Thai Wai.
The awarding ceremony became more meaningful when the School Vice Director Bro. Manit Sakonthawat attended and congratulated the winners by personally giving them the Certificate of Recognition along with Miss Jiraporn Jitham, the head of the English Program, and their Homeroom Teachers.
Congratulations to all the winners! May you all continue to be a good role model in and out of the school.
The EP Discipline Department would like to thank the committee and all parents and teachers for their continual support for the students.
