HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION DAY

Once again, it’s time for spooky fun at ACSP!
On 31 October 2024, ACSP celebrated Halloween for the students and teachers. The school was filled with creepy laughter, ghoulish costumes, and scary make-up such as artificial blood, cuts, and faces that seemed like ghosts, goblins, witches, and zombies. All the teachers and students participated in the event, especially in the eerie surprises and trick-or-treating activity.
The objectives of the event were to showcase the students’ creativity in styling their Halloween costumes, to widen the social skills of students while enjoying the celebration, and to create an opportunity for cultural awareness and fun for students.
The activities started on the 24th until the 30th of October namely the Spooky Story Telling Competition. Also, the students were very hands-on and active during the week. They even utilized their break time to make DIY crafts, write horror stories, and participate in Halloween Vocabulary Games, Descriptive Writing about the Halloween booth, Reading Halloween History, and Booth sketching. All the artworks were displayed in the booths at the St. Gabriel building, where visitors and parents could see and enjoy them.
Finally, on the celebration day, everyone was wearing their best spooky costume. There was a Surprise Halloween Talent Show on the big stage, too, where performers showed their excellent talent in acting and dancing.
Halloween is not just an event but a celebration of imagination and creativity. It is also an opportunity to face our fears and doubts about the future.
