During Semester 1 AY2024, the ACSP English Program invited Dr. Wannapong Taimpo, MUIC Associate Professor, for the SMART students STEM Learning Project.

Students enrolled in the SMART Elective subject had various activities such as STEM-Biology for Secondary 1, STEM-Chemistry for Secondary 2 (reaction of sodium hydrogen carbonate with acids, nature of chemistry through daily life chemical reactions, stoichiometry baking soda battle, and chemistry homemade medicine capsule), Euro 2024 SMART-ICT Coding, and Robotics for Secondary 2 also.

These activities were tailored for students to work on complex projects. Dr. Wannapong gave them challenges, and students successfully applied their analytical thinking and information assessment skills to develop creative solutions while collaborating effectively. These skills are helpful for academic success and set the foundation for future STEM professionals and innovators.
