Both Thai and foreign English, Mathematics, and Science teachers from Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP) successfully completed the comprehensive training program titled "Seminar and Training for Potential Development of Teachers Using St. Gabriel’s Foundation Core Textbooks," held from October 15 to 18, 2026. Organized by the Education Department of the St. Gabriel’s Foundation of Thailand, the four-day professional development event took place at the St. Gabriel’s Academic and Recreation Center 2000 in Nonthaburi. The seminar featured expert trainers from Singapore who led engaging sessions aimed at refining teachers' instructional strategies and pedagogical skills.

The seminar covered various academic disciplines and professional modules designed to meet the evolving needs of modern education:

English Language Teaching (TKT Modules 1 & 2): Focused on key professional knowledge including grammar, vocabulary, phonology, language skills, learner characteristics, lesson planning, coursebook evaluation, and assessment techniques.

Primary & Secondary Mathematics: Emphasized content knowledge, creating mathematically powerful classrooms, word problem-solving using bar models, lesson planning, and reflection.

Primary & Secondary Science: Explored inquiry-based learning methodologies (such as the 5E Inquiry model), primary science toolboxes, and modern technology integration, including AI in education.

STEM Integration: Teachers from primary and secondary science and mathematics tracks participated in joint STEM sessions, focusing on hands-on design, research, engagement, and automation.

This intensive training reflects ACSP’s strong commitment to continuous teacher development, ensuring that educators are well-equipped with modern pedagogical tools to foster meaningful and engaging learning experiences for all students.
