EP Elective Subjects Study Trip 2025

On January 20, 2025, EP Secondary 1-3 students embarked on their study trip to explore locations aligned with their chosen elective subjects. The SMART, ICT, EGL, C-COM, and J-COM classes visited different study trip destinations.

The S1-3 SMART and S2-3 ICT classes visited the Faculty of Science at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang to conduct university-level lab experiments, emphasizing the importance of a strong foundation in science. The S1 ICT group explored River City Bangkok, learning about creative photography and the conservation of arts and antiques. Meanwhile, the S1 C-COM students visited Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram (Thailand's royal temple founded by King Rama I for monks to study Dharma) and Wat Arun Ratchawararam(The Temple of Dawn, dedicated to the god Arun, was chosen by King Taksin as the site for Siam's new capital after Ayuthaya's fall). The S2-3 J-COM class enjoyed interactive activities at Srinakharinwirot University's Faculty of Humanities, including dressing in traditional Japanese attire and making delicious toast. Lastly, the S1-3 EGL class explored nine themed exhibition rooms at the museum, covering topics such as Thai heritage and the wonders of Suvarnabhumi Airport.

These study trips had three main objectives: to provide students with opportunities to make real-world connections to their studies; to help them see and experience their fields in real workspaces, gaining new perspectives relevant to their chosen elective subjects; and to develop their critical thinking, collaboration and problem-solving skills, enabling them to connect classroom learning to real-life situations.
