"คิดการใหญ่และเล็งเป้าสูง" คือแรงบันดาลใจและความมุ่งมั่นของพวกเราในทศวรรษนี้พวกเรารู้ดีว่าคุณภาพคับแก้วกับผลงานโดดเด่นเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้
เกิดความสำเร็จได้ยากแต่มันก็ไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องสุดวิสัย พวกเราตระหนักดีว่ามีความตั้งใจอย่างเดียวมันไม่เพียงพอที่จะทำให้พวกเราบรรลุถึงจุดหมายปลายทาง
แต่เรายังงต้องอาศัยเครื่องมือตัวช่วยต่างๆเป็นปัจจัยร่วมที่สำคัญ บราเดอร์เชื่อว่าเรามีพร้อมสรรพทั้งสองสิ่งได้กล่าวไว้เบื้องต้น

         เริ่มทศวรรษที่ปีการศึกษา 2550 โรงเรียนได้เข้าร่วมประกวดโรงเรียนพระราชทาน ระดับมัธยมศึกษาขนาดใหญ่ รางวัลแห่งความพยายามของพวกเรา
ที่ได้รับเป็นตัวชี้วัดที่ดีในความสำเร็จที่น่าพึงพอใจ ตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2550 เป็นต้นมาเรามุ่งเน้นไปที่นักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษามากขึ้นนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา
ได้ทำหน้าที่หลักโดยมีนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาเป็นทีมงานที่ให้การส่งเสริมมาตลอดในอดีต บัดนี้เราได้กลับบทบาทดังกล่าว ทั้งนี้เพราะในปีการศึกษา 2554
โรงเรียนของเราเข้าร่วมการประกวดโรงเรียนพระราชทานในระดับประถมศึกษาขนาดใหญ่อีกวาระหนึ่ง

         ในการตรวจประเมินสถานศึกษารอบแรก เมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2554 โรงเรียนของเราได้เข้าแข่งขันกับโรงเรียนวัดสวนส้ม ซึ่งเป็นโรงเรียนที่อยู่ใน
เขตการศึกษาที่ 1 ของจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ พวกเรามีความกังวลกันพอสมควร เพราะโรงเรียนที่เป็นคู่แข่งของเรา เป็นโรงเรียนที่รู้จักกันดีในแวดวงการศึกษา
โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในกลุ่มโรงเรียนของภาครัฐ เป็นโรงเรียนต้นแบบของการประยุกต์ใช้กับระบบเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง มีผู้เข้าเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนดังกล่าวมากมาย
ในรอบต่อไปการแข่งขันก็มีขึ้นในเดือนพฤศจิกายน คู่แข่งของโรงเรียนเราจะเป็นโรงเรียนที่เป็นตัวแทนจากเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาเขต 2 จังหวัดสมุทปราการ ถ้าโรงเรียนของเราผ่านการประเมิน โรงเรียนของเราก็จะเป็นตัวแทนจังหวัดสมุทรปราการเข้าแข่งขันกับโรงเรียนอื่นๆ อีก 5 จังหวัดในเขตการศึกษาภาคกลาง
และนั่นก็จะเป็นการประเมินโรงเรียนรางวัลพระราชทานรอบสุดท้าย

         ความสำเร็จของโรงเรียนเรา จะไม่สามารถมาถึงจุดนี้ได้ ถ้าไม่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสมาชิกทุกภาคส่วน เราแต่ละคนต่างมีบทบาทสำคัญ
ในการดำเนินการซึ่งเปรียบเหมือนอวัยวะต่างๆ ของร่างกาย ล้วนแต่มีความสำคัญ บราเดอร์ขอเรียนให้ท่านทราบว่า "ทุกๆ คนได้ทำงานเต็มที่กับบทบาท
หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบในแต่ละงานของตนเองได้เป็นอย่างดี"

         การเจริญเติบโตของโรงเรียนเรา ยังคงก้าวหน้าต่อไปเรื่อยๆ บราเดอร์เองหวังว่า พวกเราทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องคงมีความสุขที่จะได้เห็นโรงเรียน
มีความก้าวหน้าต่อไปโรงเรียนพยายามเพิ่มเติมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและโอกาสต่างๆ เพื่อการพัฒนานักเรียนของเรา การสร้างสนามกีฬา สนามเด็กเล่น
ก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งความพยายามเพื่อให้นักเรียนได้พักผ่อนหย่อนใจและมีสุขภาพอนามัยที่สมมบูรณ์ โครงการต่อไปทางโรงเรียนจะสร้างอาคาร 5 ชั้น ซึ่งเรียกว่า
ศูนย์พัฒนาศักยภาพของนักเรียน อาคารดังกล่าวก็จะประกอบไปด้วย สระว่ายน้ำ ห้องสมุด โบสถ์เล็กๆ ห้องออกกำลังกายและห้องอื่นๆเช่นศูนย์พัฒนาทางดนตรี
ศูนย์พัฒนาทางศิลปะการแสดงเป็นต้น สิ่งเหล่านี้ไม่ใช่การวางแผนเพื่อเพิ่มปริมาณนักเรียนและห้องเรียน แต่เพื่อเพิ่มสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก
ต่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพของผู้เรียน

         โครงการดังกล่าวต้องลงทุนสูง โดยประมาณแล้ว ประมาณ 200 ล้านบาท คณะกรรมการระดมทุนก็คงจะต้องทำงานหนักพอสมควร โรงเรียนคาดหวัง

ในความตั้งใจดีของสมาชิกอัสสัมชัญทุกคน จะมีส่วนร่วมเมื่อเวลานั้นมาถึง

         "Think big and aim high" has been our aspiration and determination in this decade. We are aware that high quality and
outstanding performances are difficult to achieve but possible and attainable. We are also aware that to have a will in order to realize the way is not sufficient. The means to help reaching the goals is also a key factor to success. We believe that we have both of
what mention to our full capacity.

         We started the decade in 2007 by participating the Royal School Award in the secondary level. The trophy of the effort
was a good indicator that ACSP is in a position of achieving anything desirable. Since 2007 we have been giving more focus to our
primary students. Till 2007 the secondary students have been overshadowing the primary students. The secondary students have
been the main actors and the primary students as supporter. The roles have been reversed little by little and the time is right in 2011.
We participate for the Royal School Award once again but this time in the primary level.

         In the first round, on September 15, 2011 we competed with Wat Suan Som school, in the Educational Region 1 of the
Samutprakarn Province. We were much worried and concerned since our competitor has been very well-known in the educational circle especially among the public school community. The school has been the model for adopting the Philosophy of Sufficient Economy
and visited by hundreds of school. The next round of competition will be in November. Our competitor would be the winner of
the Educational Region 2 of the Samutprakarn Province. If ACSP could pass the second round, the school would be the
Samutprakarn Province representative to compete with other best schools in five provinces in the central region. Hopefully, we will have good news to share with you in the next issue.

         The success of ACSP could not be reached without the participation and cooperation of its members. We all have a good
and important part to play just like organs of our body. I am happy to inform that everybody is aware and realizes this role and
responsibility.

         The growth and development of ACSP is still in progress. I hope our stakeholder is happy to see what is going on. We are
adding more and more facilities and opportunities for the total development of our students. The Sport Center and the Fun
and Health Land are places where students are enjoying their recreations. The next project is a five-storey building, the Student
Competency Development Center. The Building will be composed of a swimming pool, a fully equipped digital library, a chapel,
a fitness center and many other functional rooms for services such as music and art performance, etc… There is no plan of extending
the strength of the school in terms of number of students and class-rooms, but it is for developing the students' potentiality. The project needs a big investment. In estimation, it would amount to about 200 million baht. The fund raising committee will have to
work hard again. We trust in the good will of our members that you will do your part when the time comes.
